Our commitment to you

Our commitment to you

  • Taking part in the Yorkshire Health Study is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at anytime. This is your health, and your research. You can be involved as little or as much as you like.

  • You will not be indentified from the research - researchers will not have access to your name and home address, just your ID number.

  • Every research project is thoroughly checked by the Yorkshire Health Srudy management group team to make sure it meets the highest scientific and ethnical standards. Only studies deemed high quality will be approved by the management group.

  • The Yorkshire Health Study and the researchers we work with will keep your information confidential at all times. We have a strict data sharing policy in place to make sure your data is protected and safe.

  • Your contact details will never be shared with any companies or organisations.

  • All of our research aims to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Yorkshire.
